Use of the site

erevenderee.com is built for personal, non-commercial use. You are welcome to run the salary calculator as often as you like, compare pay periods, and read through the wage and compensation guides at no cost and without creating an account. What we ask in return is that you leave the site working the way you found it.

That means you agree not to interfere with how the site loads or responds, not to attempt to reach areas that are not published for visitors, and not to run automated tools that pull content at a volume which slows the site for everyone else. Copying a page by hand to keep for your own reference is fine. Hammering the server with a scraper so that other visitors wait is not.

Allowed

Running calculators and re-reading guides for your own pay planning, any number of times.

Not allowed

Probing unpublished areas, injecting code, or deliberately degrading performance for other visitors.

Our response

We may throttle or block access when these limits are broken, and we may change published pages without notice.

Educational purpose only

Every calculator, table, and explainer on this site exists to help you understand how a paycheck is built and how your pay compares with published wage data. A gross-to-net estimate is a starting point for your own reading of a pay stub, not a verdict on what you will be paid.

The figures you get here are approximations. Withholding rules, local taxes, benefit deductions, and pay-period conventions all move the final number, and none of them are decided by this site. Nothing on the page is tax, legal, financial, or payroll advice, and using the site does not create a professional relationship with Everee Salary Compass.

What the site gives you
An estimate you can compare, adjust, and reason about before you check the real figure.
What it cannot give you
A binding answer for your employer, your state, or your tax filing.
Where to check
Your pay stub, your employer's payroll contact, and the agency that published the source data.

Accuracy and no warranty

We keep the site updated and we write the explanations carefully, but we do not promise that every figure will match your situation or that the site will always be free of errors. The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Use the information at your own discretion, and verify anything material against a primary source before you act on it.

Paycheck estimate Approximate by design. Withholding tables, benefit elections, and local rates shift the result. Verify
Wage benchmarks Reflect the source agency's survey window, not today's local market. Read the source date. Verify
Pay-period conversions Calendar-accurate arithmetic, but an employer may use a different convention for your payroll. Verify
Budgeting notes General guidance for a household, not a plan built around your debts, rent, or dependents. Verify

Intellectual property

The text, layout, and original content on this site belong to Everee Salary Compass or its licensors and are protected by the law that applies to published works. The public wage and compensation data we reference belongs to the agency that published it, and remains subject to that agency's own terms.

You may quote a short passage from a guide or a benchmark page with a clear credit and a link back. Republishing a substantial portion of the site, or presenting our explanations as your own, is not permitted without written permission. If you would like to use more than a brief quotation, write to us first and we will tell you what is possible.

  • Quote a short passage with attribution and a link to the original page.
  • Share a link to any guide or calculator page in a classroom, newsletter, or workplace note.
  • Copy a full guide, benchmark set, or calculator into another site or product.
  • Present our explanations or wage tables as your own work.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Everee Salary Compass is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that come from using the site or relying on what it publishes. That includes decisions you make after reading an estimate from a calculator on this site.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live, and nothing here shifts responsibility for a payroll or tax decision onto this site. The figures we publish are there to inform your own reading, and the final call on any number belongs to you and to the source that produced it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The effective date at the top of the page shows the most recent revision, and that date is the one that counts. If you keep using the site after a change is published, that continued use means you accept the updated terms. If a revision does not work for you, you are free to stop using the site.

Questions about these terms, about how a calculator works, or about the data behind a benchmark can go through the contact page, by phone during working hours, or by mail to the Los Angeles office. We read them and we answer them.

Questions about the terms

Do I need an account to use the salary calculator?

No. The calculators and the guides are open to read and to use without registering, and the terms above describe that free personal use. You can run an estimate, compare pay periods, and leave without leaving anything behind.

Can I rely on an estimate as my actual pay?

Treat it as a well-reasoned approximation. The gap between an estimate and a real paycheck comes from things this site cannot see: your withholding elections, your state and local rules, your benefit deductions, and how your employer runs its payroll calendar. Check the figures that matter against your pay stub.

Where do the wage and compensation benchmarks come from?

From public agency surveys that are published for anyone to read. Each benchmark page names the source it uses and the window that data covers, so you can go back to the original and check a number yourself before you use it in a negotiation or a budget.

Can I quote a page from this site in my own writing?

A short passage with clear attribution and a link back is fine. Republishing a whole guide or a full set of benchmarks is not. If you are unsure which side of that line your use falls on, send us a note through the contact page and we will tell you.

What happens if these terms change?

The effective date at the top of the page is updated whenever the terms are revised. Reading the site after that date means you accept the new version, so it is worth a quick look whenever the date changes. Older versions are not kept online.

Keep reading, keep checking

These terms cover how you use the site. If you came here for a number rather than a rule, the calculators and the state and metro benchmarks are where to go next. Each one is free to use, and each one tells you what it is comparing.
